It’s hard to run out of things to do in Los Angeles, but if you’re looking for some good, sustainable, eco-friendly fun it’s not always easy to know what’s going on. Lucky for you, I have compiled a list of events coming up this month. I’ll be at most, if not all of them. I hope to see you!

I’m very excited to spend some quality time with the ocean this weekend. Well, as long as it doesn’t rain, but I certainly won’t complain if it does. California is in desperate need and so is my car.
Assuming all goes to plan, I will be joining the Surfrider Foundation for their beach cleanup in Santa Monica on Saturday morning. If you’re in the area and want to go, you can get more information and RSVP on their Facebook event page. There are always clean ups happening all across the nation, not only at beaches, but lakes and rivers as well. Just check the Surfrider website to locate a chapter near you.
The Renegade Craft Fair in Los Angeles took place this past weekend. It’s one of my favorite events to go to. If you don’t know what it is, think Etsy, but in real life—a festival of unique, handmade products, art, jewelry, and crafts.

I have lived in California for the majority of my life, yet I haven’t fully experienced all it has to offer. It wasn’t until I spent this last week in Lake Tahoe, that I realized what I had been missing out on.
Going green doesn’t have to feel like a chore, it can be easy, fun and stylish. As individuals, we like to express ourselves, whether its through the clothes we wear or the things we buy. Everything can be personalized these days including our phones, computers, cars, shoes, etc. So why does going green have to be any different?
Fortunately, it doesn’t. There are many options to choose from when it comes to reusable products, so you no longer have to carry around disposable products like plastic bags or paper cups that are not only an eye sore, but are also bad for the environment.
